Dear Devotee and Member
You have experienced world-renowned religious experience- delivered with compassion by extraordinary priests of Sri Ranganatha Temple. Recently one of the devotees said “I get the feeling and satisfaction when I visit Sri Ranganatha Temple that I never experienced visiting any other temple in the world. I truly believe God really exists in this temple”. We would like you to experience the same feeling visiting Ranganatha Temple.
Whether it was personal attention you received from highly skilled priests, the vast knowledge and religious expertise of Sri Krishna Desika Yata Jeeyar Swamy (email@example.com), or a reassuring smile, a satisfying free prasadam and encouraging word of fellow devotee or a volunteer-we hope that your experience with the temple was positive. You can send Jeeyar Swamy for any request of your requirements or doubts about any part of our religion and private religious consultation.
At Sri Ranganatha Temple, devotees are at the center of everything we do, and it means so much to everyone at the Temple when we hear about your outstanding devotion you received. Lord Ranganatha and Mahaa Lakshmi does not discriminate based on your ability to donate and pay for Aarathi. God treats everyone equally whether you are rich or poor. That is why we do not charge you for Aarathi or Puja at our temple and we strive to treat everyone equally. We strongly believe in that and we also offer free food (Prasadam) to all. We believe that the Temple belongs to you and you and your family are partners in caring-a way that you can personally honor those people (Priests or volunteers) who made a difference to you and your family.
If you encountered someone who made your experience special, please take a moment to let us know. Make a donation today and we will send a note to the priest, volunteer, board member, or other staff to acknowledge their excellence and thank them on your behalf.
Your support will not only bring well-deserved recognition and joy to one of our priests, volunteer or staff but it will help to ensure that other devotees experience the same high-quality attention as you did.
With warm regards,
S. Ram Nagubandi

Happy Deepavali to all
We would like to continue to communicate with you through letters posted on our website. Please try to visit our website www.ranganatha.org for events and other news about your temple.
Some of you who have visited the temple in recent days, may have noticed that the heating system is not been working. The temple premises have been heated using some space heaters. That is because our heating system broke due to age and needed immediate attention. Of-course these heaters are commercial size heaters and no HVAC contractor keeps them in stock. We needed to assess first what is wrong with it, get three quotes, considering how soon the contract can repair or replace these units. That is why there was a delay in acting to repair or replace these units. Of-course, replacing means, we should be ready to spend $50,000 or more.
From time to time, this type of major expenses needs to be addressed. Some folks have suggested that we should begin to charge for Archana, pujas and food to generate money. But the board of trustees decided against it and agreed to keep the “ Yatha Shakthi” approach as we believe money should not be a criterion for pujas and praying in the temple. That is what makes our temple unique and we hope to continue this practice as long as we can. Of-course, it does not mean we don’t need money, but you can donate whatever amount you feel right.
By the way, we have simplified the process of booking a Priest to come to your home and perform puja at your location. Now you can go on line at the above link and choose a date for any puja at your home. The cost of bringing ‘Utsava Vigrahas’ and priest’s time must be borne by you and the website details these costs.
We would appreciate if you can donate any amount towards the cost of heating system or for the general upkeeping of the temple.
One other request we would like you to consider. On Fridays, the temple must close at 9 PM. We have noticed that a group of people like to socialize in the temple even way past 9 PM often times till 11 PM. That means, the priests have to stay till everyone leaves, lock the temple and next morning they have to come to temple by 8 AM. This means, we are not being fair to the priests or their families. We appreciate, if all devotees make it a point to leave the temple by 9 PM on Fridays and by 8 PM on weekdays.
Thank you very much and remember it is your temple and make it a practice to come and freely pray to Lord Ranganatha and Sri Maha Lakshmi and other incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
May Lord Ranganatha and MahaLakshmi bless you and your family.
